Food Banks in Nearby Areas: If Wilmington’s options are not immediately available, nearby towns might have food banks or pantries that could be accessible.

If you wish to contribute or know someone who might, donations can be made via:

A new project is offered through the Wilmington Senior Center (https://www.wilmingtonma.gov/elderly-services). The Club has raised funds to provide local senior citizens the opportunity to dine at a local restaurant. $50 gift certificates are purchased at Wilmington restaurants and offered free to seniors who might not have ability to afford to go out to eat. It’s one thing to get food from the Community Fund’s (http://www.wilmingtoncommunityfund.org) Food Pantry, but going out to dinner is an event we all enjoy. The cards are distributed completely anonymously to seniors through the Elderly Services Director.

Little League
Each year the Kiwanis Club of Wilmington helps out with Opening Day for Wilmington Little League by serving hot dogs and drinks to the hungry players.

Just a little Ketchup is all it takes. Well, maybe just some more. OK – A LOT!
How to cook all those dogs at once? Bob and Wendy have it under control.
PanMass Challenge – Wilmington style
Kids and bikes around and around. Hundreds of Wilmington kids raise thousands of dollars for cancer research. The Kiwanis Club of Wilmington supports the effort with – you guessed it – Hot Dogs!
Ready for the crowd! Volunteers join Dennis, Karen and Stu with plenty of hot dogs at the finish line for Wilmington’s Pan Mass Challenge
A little ketchup is needed to make a Kiwanis Hot Dog complete. Did someone say “a little”?
Puerto Rico Relief
